Lockdown menus - last week's meals

Monday 4 May
Brie on sourdough, orange, coffee

Garnished soup from the freezer, slightly curried perhaps. Dr Karg bread and baklava

Linguine with courgettes and mushrooms, and a nice glass of wine

Tuesday
Bagels with cream cheese and marmalade, more chesse with the apple

Veg fry-up, fizzy lemonade to drink

Chicken and courgette with mash

Wednesday
Egg, tomatoes on sourdough toast, yogurt, coffee

Roast veg, yogurt, Polish rye bread, dates

Canadian smoked salmon on sourdough, ice cream to follow

Thursday
Eggs, Polish rye, maybe with marmalade

Pasta and a veggie sauce

Asparagus for starter...

... followed by bangers and mash, and sweetheart cabbage

Friday
Avocado on toast, yogurt with blueberries, pear and cheese

Curried cauli soup (from freezer), yogurt garnish, Polish rye bread

Chickpea and parsnip curry, with rice and yogurt, and a Friday-night beer

Saturday
One egg, one toast - and the other toast with cream cheese and marmalade.

Smoked mackerel on crispbread, celery, a pear

Grilled aubergine, bacon, stir-fried peppers, and a few other bits

 Sunday 10 May
Smoked mackerel (for breakfast!) , sourdough toast, melon and blueberries

Spag bol

Two veg curries, spiced rice, bitter lemon tomato salad
