The air has been filled with "snow" from the plane trees in the square across from the office. People are saying it's impossible to wear contact lenses.

Even the tree outside my window looks tired and bedraggled, like it's been turned inside out by the wind.
I stood in "snow" the other day myself. A stand of cottonwood trees was letting loose its seeds which come clumped in cottony bits that look just like snow. No camera or I would have tried to capture it. It really does look like a snowstorm.
