Some of the type blocks that Angie Hughes uses in her fabulous work - she had several boxes of these for use in her workshop at the Contemporary Quilt summer school. Ineke Berlyn (tutor of the workshop I was doing) had spotted them and suggested using the curlicues on "Dawn Forest" - here's a close-up -
The low-lying mist is tulle backed with black FuseFX (fusible web).
