I love that first photo. It is one of the few times when a pole and wires work in a composition. How wondrous to be in all that lovely snow. A real winter experience.
Gosh how interesting. That was my first thought. Then I wondered what had happened to the creature to make such an odd placement of footprints. Hope it wasn't Bambi related!
No spots therefore not Bambi, but a very nice looking doe!
On the tracks without any measurements of course it's sorta hard to tell. How big do you think the paw prints were? Where there any dragging marks? It's apparent taht the deer tracks and the other critters tracks are on top of each other. Racoon? Very large male racoon possibly - this'd make him much older they can live to be quite old if there are no other predators around to do them in.
Do you have raccoons over there? That would be my guess but I don't know if you have them in the UK. Badger?
