Traditional values

Here's a story I found on the web.

When a member of the Babemba tribe of South Africa acts irresponsibly or unjustly, all work stops. Everyone gathers in the center of the village and forms a large circle around the 'offender'. Every member of the tribe, regardless of age, shares all the 'offender's' positive attributes, strengths, good deeds and acts of kindness throughout his or her lifetime they can recall. When everyone has recounted all they can remember the circle is broken and the person is symbolically and literally welcomed back into the tribe with joyful celebration.
