Silk boxes

The floppy one holds some throwster's waste - long strands of silk, very strong - gummed and unruly -The stiff one holds "moth holes" (synthetic fibre...) and a silk organza moth -
Various types of silk are available by post from George Weil (no affiliation, just a satisfied customer) - the website has a good explanation of what they are, or for more information about silk and other fibres, look here. I use the cocoon strippings to make paper for boxes, and for printing on, because it's so uncomplicated - no need to add paste, even.
