Tiny offcuts of a double-layer corrugated cardboard. I was intrigued by the cross-section showing the layers, and wondered how the channels could be used to hold it together. When the book is closed the spine looks fabulous.
But - what to put on the pages? And I'm thinking about what to do with those rough top and bottom edges.
Lovely! Could you cut into the pages and peel away the top surface to reveal the corrugations?
ReplyDeleteCoincidentally, I saw a corrugated card accordion book at Walford Mill last week which was collaged with more card, snippets of text, other types of card and a bit of dry brushing - very inspirational.
Made a collage of found paper and then cut to size. A real scrapbook.
