The book - Valuation of Land and Houses - was published in 1924. At the auction, held in 1931, one lot of three houses went for £225 and another lot of six houses went for £365; a shop and dwelling for £325 and a "well-built leasehold residence" (with name rather than street number) for £625.
I count things found in books as one of the best treasures -- a link to a previous reader.
