Book du jour - graphite experiments

In early December I started experimenting with graphite in a small notebook, first using just the graphite and lately, adding other materials - wax and ink -
Incising, scratching, burnishing are some of the tortures that the materials have had to undergo -

Of course the graphite transfers to the facing page, especially if the back of the page is worked on.

Once the booklet is full, it will be transformed into a concertina book - so the "mirror" (transferred graphite) pages will no longer face each other.
