Creative procrastination

It got me into the studio for hours and hours....

A printed teatowel found at the National Gallery. It cried out for "colouring in" (first choose your colour palette, keeping in mind that there will be a lot of white space, and black lines, in between) -
Stitching must be two-sided -
but can be improvisational, extemporaneous -
Did you want to see the back?
Acres of white space. Made with double-sided use in mind; I do hope the recipient will actually use it.

The "colouring in" was very satisfying. Now I'm on the lookout for other suitable teatowels to embellish. The things we use most often should be satisfying, rather than simply utilitarian, is it not so?
