Drawing Tuesday - RAF Museum

Always a thrill to see the big planes up close, but sad to think of what these WW2 bombers were built for -
And this one from the first World War -
Standing before a vitrine, in a hangar full of school groups, I drew "Scotch Jock", a teddy bear from 1917, the mascot of Lieutenant William McLanachan, nicknamed McScotch -
Janet K discovered that one of the wheels on her Gloster Meteor actually belonged to the plane displayed behind it, whose wing also overshadowed the smaller plane -
 Sue's three-wheeled vehicle -
 ... and her Hudson -
Jo approached the helicopter with pencil in non-dominant hand - she sees the proportions better that way (must try it!) -
Janet B fit the whole plane on the page -
... but last week in Glasgow she didn't have the same luck with an emu -
Tool of the week (sort of) - Jo found this very specific set of pencils in a charity shop - there's one for each layer of a hamburger -
