As seen at Chalk Farm tube station last week. Today I learnt the wallaby was seen - indeed, photographed - in Highgate Cemetery. Latest rumour is that it's a pregnant female. Good luck to her!
Several years ago I saw a wallaby in a golf course near Kingsclere. No one believed me, but quite a while back now, some escaped from Whipsnade Zoo, and have formed colonies across Southern England. This one must have braved quite a bit of traffic to make it to Highgate cemetery!

ReplyDeleteIf I were a wallaby then I think Highgate Cemetery would be a good place to hang out!!
