I love mixing the fabrics, but after "only" six quilts, they're starting to feel a bit same-ish. The (subconsciously self-imposed) hidden agenda, which is gradually revealling itself to me, seems to be to use up all the stripey fabric -- but there's a couple metres of it left - enough for, oh, eight more of these. Or, merely two more - with stripey backs.

I love black and white stripes (and have used them many times).
I love blue and orange.
I love log cabins and their variations.
Your Barcode Series appeals to me in many ways!
An interesting idea - but as you say they are looking a bit same-ish - so why not do up some sets of black and white stripes with a lot more width variation and use slices of that/those. You know how bar codes appear on the packaging of an item often down the front lower edge or on the back lower edge, or on a little pricing label - how about a series of blocks with various sized chunks of bar code somewhere, various thicknesses/scale, in various places within the blocks - here you are using the the same b/w strip as a log cabin-ish border, which is imho why it is not generating anough ongoing excitement.
Failing that, heck, go use it all up on backs and be done with it! It's fabric, the backs need some kind of fabric - why not b/w strips - just make sure it does not show through light pieces on the front, though.
