Alignment, spacing - and getting a good impression (with one whack of the hammer). Tricky.

I love it! what are you stamping into -- cardboard? what kind of place sells the punches? I think I need some.
Kathy, I'm stamping onto card covered with book cloth - as the eventual "book" will be. I bought the punches online - search for "letter punches" - or you may be able to find them at an automotive supplier - they are used for stamping into metal ID plates.
