Juxtapositions

Jennifer Bartlett's The Garden - a bit of corporate art for ISI - is actually two murals. One is intact and installed in the lobby of the building; the other is to be found in sections throughout the building. (She's done further work on the theme, good to look at in terms of developing the same source material.)

This brought to mind a book that Denise Hawrysio showed when she came to talk to us at Camberwell. She had made a huge, intensely worked drawing - right round her studio walls - and then cut it up to make a sumptuous book.
These segue into the linen-backed map -
Systems of division into squares, and with good reason.
