Thread on paper - seeing her work makes me want to stitch, stitch, stitch....! (And these kind of marks fit quite nicely into the category of "asemic writing" that I'm looking at in my essay.)

Margaret -- thanks so much for the link to asemic writing. It's something I have done in the past, both in fabric surface design and calligraphy. I will spend some time with this and follow the links, etc.
