The annual Peter Dormer lecture was given by Tom and Stephanie of 6a architects

 The Panizzi Lectures at the British Library were given this year by Laurie Maguire - on the topic, one per lecture, of blanks, ampersands, and astericks in text -


Manicles appeared, too
Imperial Lates "Xmaths" had many puzzling amusements, and a DJ who set out to measure up to the job - -


 Interesting prints by East London Printmakers at Mile End arts pavilion -

 Carol concert by City Chorus at St Andrews Holborn, recently redecorated -
 Progress (plastered and painted walls) but not completion at Rathcoole Gardens - electrics and plumbing are only part done 0
Yesterday, lovely weather for a walk along the Thames, to Eel Pie Island Open Studios -

Today, it's good to be home, getting on with sewing, knitting, cooking, tidying -
... and woodblock printing on the kitchen table -
The paper goes in the damp pack,
the colours get chosen,
the nori gets decanted,
and then I'm ready to start
