Needled, but felt it not

Fortunately no-one stabbed themselves during Hooked in London's session of needle felting - otherwise known as "stabbing" -
My aim was to find out if this was an "easy" way of making a fabric pot (for dipping in porcelain slip) -
in progress

done!
Seeing what others were doing with wisps of wool, on felt and fabric, and thinking of folk art animals (applique and embroidery on, eg, rabbit shapes), I aimed to make a xmas tree ornament....

The bunny had a mind of its own (and I broke three needles doing it) -
The back is delightfully fuzzy - cut out and with hanging loop attached between the ears, this will be a flat ornament, so that both sides can be a tactile experience -
Afterwards I went to Rathcoole Gardens, where some excellent needle felting had appeared - a bevy of Jill Hutton's quirky "angels"  -
