Woodblock Wednesday

After faffing about with various combinations of lines-in-acircle last week, I finally arrived at an arrangement based on the Fibonacci series (1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, etc), starting centrally and spreading out on both sides. Plenty of possibilities for overprinting and making complex "nets" -

 Printing, at last -
 Note the "floating kento" made of two layers of mount board - the second L-shape is held on with masking tape in a position that allows for 6" squares of paper to be centred on the circle.

I also cut a "negative" to the existing circle, flat expanses of colour with narrow lines of white -

Oops, careful with the registration if you're overprinting -
 Slightly on the diagonal...
 Some of my papers were double, and the colour bled through -
The brown one was a surprise - I inked up with blue on the previously-orange block (see below) ... guess it had quite a lot of residual colour ...
