Woodblock Wednesday - heavy stuff

Continuing with the sequences of earth colours -
Ochre on top

Burnt umber on top

Now they've dried, does it make a difference?

Starting with burnt umber over the grey

The burnt sienna - oh my, so sloppy!

"Take it to the end" though - just for the practice, if nothing else
These are the four prints that took a couple of hours to do -
My favourite is the "nothing to lose" print, the one that got turned around. It's so much less heavy than the others, and has a playful quality despite the sloppiness -
Overheard: "There's usually always something that can be done when you've made a mistake" ... or words to that effect.
