Art I like - Clare Gallagher
"If you wait for the exciting bits and ignore the rest, you lose out on massive chunks of life," says Clare Gallagher in relation to her photo project Domestic Drift. " I challenged myself to break out of the routine of home: cleaning, cooking, charging around. I wanted to photograph the things I struggled with." In this project she repurposed French thinker Guy Debord's theory of the dérive, or drift, which he applied to walking around the city, responding to an environment in playful ways, in search of new experiences.
