For the pre-Christmas meeting, we each brought an object to Janet K's -
and sat round the table drawing some or all of them -
Silence reigned, unbroken but for the scratching of pencils -

Tool of the week: a nice little compact watercolour set -
Before settling down to lunch we also shared our favourite pages from the earlier sketchbook we'd chosen to bring along - it was so interesting to see what people had done in the past, and to hear what they had to say about it ... but I didn't take photos (this post is long enough).
