Woodblock Wednesday, week 2

Suddenly it was Wednesday again and I hadn't  done any further cutting on the small "circles" block, never mind even start the big circles. They are back to back on the one piece of wood, so there won't be anything to print just yet.

So, up at the crack of dawn and getting going...

Big circles done

Small circles started ... but they are daunting, so close together
and the wood (a birch ply remnant, not the "proper stuff") is difficult

It helps to have good light when cutting, and it's also useful to paint the wood with dilute watercolour - you can see what's been done much more easily.

 Midway, some rubbings to check how the two blocks might look together -
