Uploading photos from the camera to computer hasn't been possible for a while, thanks to a near-miss with a computer crash on Friday - Thomas applied the technokiss of life throughout the day and it did come back - a close call - back up your important files NOW!
Consequently I've rather lost track of where we are with the documentation of the great leap forward in the studio. Even now there is still a small mountain in the corner, and the cupboard doors aren't yet ready. But the cupboards are painted, dry, and filling up ... rather too quickly. I needed to have some clear space urgently, so the boxes didn't get sorted before being "filed".

I love the idea of some emptiness on the shelves, but how to keep it there?Underneath, the wheely towers are filling up too. Behind them are the less-used sewing machines, and all the A4-size sketchbooks - easily accessible if I get the urge -
What the photos don't show is the huge expanse of floor in front of the window (ie to the right) - and the huge pile of things yet to be put away, close behind the photographer...

The photo of the shelves is a brilliant inspiration for me! Unfortunately my ceiling is very low and the run of space is limited by the drier etc. but I shall show the photo to John and see if we can do something similar. I know what you mean about things piled on the floor.
