department store in Sloane Square ... which dates back to 1877 on this site, 4-6 Kings Road. The present building was built between 1932 and 1936 and is the first modern-movement use of the glass
curtain wall in Britain. Grade II listed, it was refurbished in 2004.

You are a fonte of information. While I'm familiar with buildings having this, I'm not sure I ever heard the term for it before let alone understood the concept.
