Seen not too long ago at Marsden Woo.
Sara Radstone's ceramic structures not only "stretch" the clay, they have a suspended sense of fragility. You might almost mistake some of them for books - but these pages don't turn. It's hard to know what's interior or exterior - these are sculptures not vessels. Yet they are containers - of a language of their own, on and through their surfaces.
Excerpts from interviews (Oct 2005 - Feb 2006) include one about the influence of Eva Hesse.
