Experiments with melting "fruit nets" - they disintegrate when heated (by ironing between two sheets of baking parchment), but by adding another layer, either of net or plastic, they become more durable -
The "sample book" has a fused (rather than sewn) spine (and you've got to admit it's fairly ugly!) -
While trying out various types of plastic bag I liked the lacy quality of one particular sort. This little book with its tuck-in flap is about 3cm high. The stitched "journey line" is a result of stowing the ends of the sewing thread
Yet another idea for development.
